AWAN 2017 Festival offers Arab women artists living in the UK this fantastic FREE talk and workshop, designed to enhance your career in the UK arts scene.
This workshop aims to support Arab women arts practitioners to grow confidence and to find the best options and strategies to develop their career in the UK. Rose will provide an overview of Arab Women artists followed with advice on curatorial practice for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field.
The workshop is led by Rose Issa- a curator, publisher and writer who has championed visual art and film from the Middle East for almost 30 years.
She has lived in Iran, Lebanon, France and for the last 25 years London, where she showcases upcoming and established artists. Hugely influential in the careers of many key figures in contemporary art from the region, she has produced exhibitions and publications with public and private institutions worldwide.
